    When my eldest nephew was 13 he designed a quilt and came with me to select the co.ours he knew exactly what he wanted. Took him five minutes to pick. Took me a hour to pick mine.
    I lov e his quilt and if he doesn't say thank you you keep it.

    Well he should have what he wants! and his choices made this a 3D-looking one. Isn't it interesting to have that visual effect?

    I think it is wonderful. He has an eye for color. Bright color. good job. I like the shadow block And electric green together.
    It really looks 3-D.

    I love it and I get it. I'm in the process of making birthday quilts for 9 of my grandchildren this year. I am letting them pick colors and design. Quite an interesting process this has been. Had to keep in mind it is what THEY want. Sure had to be open minded.
    Your quilt will be a treasure to your grandson. Great colors. And best of all it HIS color scheme.
