I'm just curious, did you put stabilizer under your work when you were putting in your decorative stitches? If not, that can account for the puckering.

It is a beautiful quilt and I totally agree that you should finish it. The little one it's for won't care that you had some little bumps along the way. Definitely finish it and send it on its way.

Ditto on the wine suggestion. If that doesn't help, you might consider margaritas!

Also let me remind you of the 30 mph rule ... hand the finished quilt on a fence, drive by at 30 miles per hour, if you can't pick out the boo-boos, 's good to go!

P.S. I like it!

For sure!!! And ditto on the Margaritas.
I think it looks just fine like it is, and your niece will love it.
She's probably not old enough to see any errors you are seeing, but old enough to see love.

It is lovely. Remember what someone else on this sight says about seeing the quilt from a galloping horse at 40 feet. If the rider wouldn't notice the "oops" it's ok.

Well, you may be the only one to see any mistakes! I sure can't see them in the pictures....I think it's very pretty and colorful. Perfect for a little girl!!
I know what you mean about problems and aggravation while making a quilt top. Just been going through the same thing!!
