Some progress to show. All my bead rows are basically done (except the joining) now on to the background. Have been mulling over what to do on the back while I have been sewing and I have a plan I am pretty excited about.

Almost finished with my second pecking order quilt. This time I used 1 batik charm pack and white charm packs. I really recommend this pattern, it's easy and fun to make. You need a design wall or a floor to layout the blocks, so you can keep them going the right direction as you sew each row.

This quilt has been calling me to finish the binding for a couple weeks so that's what I did today. The pattern is a free one from EnglandStreet blog and it's called Briar Rose quilt. It's very easy to make, it uses 1 jelly roll and yardage for the background.

Lovely quilts....especially like the soft border look on the Briar rose quilt.

I got the front strips finished on my Hexie Bead quilt, now working on the back. It will be assembled QAYG when I get the back strips done.

And here is a sneak peak on partly what I'm doing on the back (it is just pinned over the front for the picture)

Very pretty, nice soft romantic colors. I like that the binding is the same fabric as the outer border.

ppquilter's tiny 9P's got me going again on my project...lol cause her strips are so neat and tidy. I'm using random +5" dark and +4" light 1" strips to make each 9P. Also making 4P from leftover 2" strips.

I'm in NC on the outer edge of the hurricane, we haven't lost power so I'm busy sewing. This is under my needle right now, I'm putting the borders on it.

Glad you can keep sewing Christine. Looks like you will be okay. Just keep sewing, just keep sewing on that pretty top.
