This drives me nuts! I have a store-bought extension table with rounded and beveled corners and it still does it! Is there not a way to fix it?

I think that the weight of the quilt is the problem, not the table. I find that when I'm trying to quilt or bind my large quilts that a dining room size table is the only way to go. Even than if it slides off I have a devil of a time until it is all up and on the table. Just my thought. :)

Diane, That is great. I did the same thing, except I drilled a screw into the legs (mine travels with me). Another suggestion would be to add a measuring tape tape along the edge. I believe that Dirtz sells some, I found mine at Michaels.
