My problem is not the mess so much as what happens when I do clean up-I can't find anything!

I can only deal with a mess while I am in the middle of something. I have to clean and organize my room between major projects or I cant go forward.

Your room look like my attic and walk in closet in my bedroom. Everybody needs a space to let everything go I guess.

And I thought mine was bad. At least I can walk around. As soon as I finish the girl scout quilt (on the machine) the room gets cleaned. I just have stacks....and stacks....and stacks....

I have the smallest of rooms for all my stuff, it's more like a cupboard. I am scared of taking photos as I think I might win.

It's os bad that I can't find the dust!

This is like going to AA. Now I have stood up and admitted my sins, tomorrow will be spent in trying to make some sense of the muddle...... second thoughts perhaps not, I can't get through the door as DH has deposited a large lamp, a step ladder and a HUGE cardboard box there! Help!

I say leave your rooms as they are if you can and if you are busy sewing. I had to clean up, put away my quilting and sewing room which is also the guest room because we had company. Much as I love them, I seem to be stuck now and don't feel like dragging everything thing out. Although, maybe partly because I know with Thanksgiving coming up, I will have to put it all away again. I should just be cleaning. Ugh! I hate cleaning.

I have to get cleanup done THIS week--as daughter and G-kids are coming--and there is not a bed--or a path to it!

Your rooms are great! I organized my mess once and have been reasonably able to stick with the organization so am satisfied right now. I usually make a big mess during a project and the floor really gets messy with thread and clippings all over the house it seems. I vacuum after every project and sometimes in between.

Mine looks the same. I know what you mean about not having enough time to put things away. I buy something and I just lay it some where instead of putting it away some where.
