Love the colors. Your styling!! I would use a different color to set them off. The blocks are great. I'm not letting my daughter see them or she would be saying Pleeeeese!!!

I think the fabric is beautiful and makes a great S&W or OBW.

Try the lime color - that might just do it. Keep us posted on what you decide.

really like matching the green and dark orange in the fabric. Lately I have been liking white in quilts - have you tried throwing in some of the white?

[quote=granky]Ok, this is the stack and whack that I have started that my daughter says is the worlds ugliest fabric. I have more than four blocks made, but am showing pics of only four. Haven't decided whether to set it together with black...or another color. Not sure what would make it lose it's 'ugly' moniker....[/quote

Maybe if the black was broken up with red, white, gray you would like the look of the block better.

Great idea from Sadiemae that way you don't buy something and get it home and doesn't match.

I don't think it is ugly. I like it especially after you made the Stack N Whack

Audition some backgroung fabric. Are you near a fab shop, where you could take the blocks and lay out on fabs? I would do this.

Fab is fine, and with the right background fabric, it will be beautiful.
