We were watching the movie 'Beethoven' at the movies and when the St Bernard dog ran up the stairs into the bedroom covered in mud and jumped on the bed I gasped out WAY TOO LOUD ... 'Nooooo not on that beautiful quilt'

Even though it was dark, I wanted the floor to open up. Everyone laughed but I didn't want the lights to come on and reveal my identity.

I always scan scenes in movies for quilts on beds, walls, over the back of chairs etc more than watching the actual movie itself.

Lol....that is soooo funny. First of all, I love your placemat. I am wanting to do a trip around the world quilt, but the way you fold into a tube and do this and etc. hasn't clicked. I did the same thing you did while watching the movie Insidious....all kinds of quilts in that movie......lol. We are so addicted.

Your story made me smile and I liked the placemats. When I've watched Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons, I've noticed the quilts on their beds and knew some of them. Guess it was easier to look at the quilt than the vampire. lol.

Yes, I have too. I have usually made comments about what fabric was in the quilt, or how it was constucted, or quilted. 1800's didn't have meandering quilting on it. And, batiks were not around then either. Geeesh!
