Nena, we wish the best for you. I hope it all goes well, and while you are recovering you can plan what you are going to do once you feel better!! Please let us know how you are doing.

Finally finished one of the Block of the Months from 2013. It was from Quilt Doodle Designs and I wanted to use up some of my flannel and fleece.I had fun practicing stitches in each block and I think I like the back better than the front!

Thanks everyone.

I seem to be on a roll this week. 2 more quilts finished (OK, I cheated on the second one and machine stitched the binding, but it's Done!) Gotta work through my "to be bound" stack somehow.

Krista: Your work is just stunning. Love the optical illusion in the autumn one! Michele: I like both sides, really taken with the idea of making both sides a sampler.

Great finishes the last few days!! Keep it up!

I haven't finished anything for a while, but since I started sewing again the last couple of weeks, I caught up on a medallion quilt (border a month) and got three stars done for the 50 Fabulous Stars BOTW.

Krista, you are on a roll! Those two are beauties also. It must feel good to get so many UFO's completed so quickly and crossed off your list. Congratulations!

It's wonderful seeing all the completed quilts this month. This group is doing a great job get'n 'er done. Here's my completed UFO for May. All I had left to do was sewing on the binding but just couldn't seem to settle down and do it. Other projects have been capturing my attention and I've let them go in front of the line because they seemed like more fun than working on a binding. Finally crossing this one off my UFO list!

you guys are sooooooooooo inspiring!!! Way to roll this UFO train on down the tracks. Whooooooo whoooooooooo!!!!
I am still catching up on non-UFO projects from being away, and it's going to be a while. I guess I am doing USOs, lol... unstarted objects!!! I did finish another comfort quilt which I posted in photos, and am about half done with the t-shirt quilt I am making for my daughter to gift to her mentor at her first charter school. It's made from shirts from school activities. After that I still have another t-shirt quilt to make that has been over a year on the back burner and an emblem quilt to finish that isn't my UFO but my son's. Seems like there is one more, but can't think which it is right now.... ohhh, it's to finish MY quilt that my sisters started for me!!! How can I forget that one?

krista - your quilts are just beautiful. Have you been sleeping at all? Congratulations on all the great finishes.
Podunk - I love black white and red quilts. Yours is gorgeous. Did you do the quilting yourself? if so, LA or DSM? The whole thing is just fabulous!

Thanks so much! The quilting was done on a long arm by the owner of a quilt shop in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, called The Quilted Heart. I decided not to attempt this one myself as it was so large...LOL.
