Kerplunk right off the wagon. First my daughter wanted to hit the junk shops and some obviously just destashed and found a few pieces that would work with some fabric I already have then Then found a bag with some orphan blocks and some strips sets and strips really really cheap. Then today hubby asks do you need anything from Joann's Me no. Well do you mind hanging out there while I get my hair cut. Umm mind no good idea not so much. Well used all my coupons and got some things that I can use up quick with all the babies coming along but still off the wagon I went. Time to dust myself off lol

Altairss: Unfair...if your DD & DH hadn't taken you off to stores where fabric lurked you never would have fallen off the wagon. I have a 60% off coupon for JA that is calling to be used. Even if I only got a can of spray adhesive it would save me a lot of money.

I'm interested in the sewing with fur question too. I have fur for my crazy quilt.

I bought one yard of fabric for the binding on my friends UFO that she gave me. I tried finishing some of the quilting on it this morning and my sewing machine went nuts. Totally messed up the bobbin thread. I'm going to rip it out and try again. My sewing machine and i are not currently getting along. I'm not sure why.

Looks like the end of June was a bumpy ride for a lot of us! I only sold about 10 yards of fabric, but I did get rid of 2 UFOs that I was never going to finish. Also sold a fair bit of paper crafting stuff. I took in almost $50. Less $10 for table rental and the $15 spent on stuff from other vendors <sigh> 1 fat quarter, some books and some paper crafting stuff. So I only made about $25 but had a lot of fun talking to everyone and did reduce my stash a tiny bit.

It sounds like fun. And progress is still progress in my book.

The fair is over and received word the basket brought in $100...I had $15 invested not counting the donated notions from LQS...I thought it was a nice payback from our small community

There were some very nice silent auction items there - that was a nice sum to bring in, did all of the items bring a good amount?
