Beautiful quilt zozee! I love the bright happy cheerful feeling of the quilt. Will be wonderful for a premie.

Here's my X's! I was going with the tribal look that is in the book, plus I wanted to try a modern X slash type block. I'm also going to add 4 paper pieced African Elephants from a pattern I found on Craftsy. I started the elephants today...they have lots of pieces. They will take me awhile!

Kristi, that is a VERY cool twist on the X block. Kudoes to you for a unique design. "Tribal" is a good description. As for the elephants, you know the old question: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
Looking forward to seeing them !

Thanks gals! I've been working on my elephant all morning and it's about 2/3 done. I'm looking at those x blocks now thinking about how I can rearrange them. I'm not sure I want to make 3 more elephants! I'll post him when I'm done!
