Connie: I'm right there with you. Lots of hours in my sewing room both piecing and organizing but no UFO finishes to show.

Finally, I have some new finishes to show. I did some binding/labeling this week, and here's what I have to show for it.

A one block wonder:

Metro Lattice, from Sew Kind of Wonderful http://www.fatquartershop.com/metro-...le-pdf-pattern
I added the dark segments as an accent, and also because I didn't have enough of the light grey

Spectrum, from Fresh Lemons.
This is made from 5 different ombre fabrics. Each vertical strip is from 1 fabric.

All the quilts and quilting since I last looked are so beautiful! That Pineapple Blossom is just awesome. Would love to make that one one day. I'm still quilting my Feb. UFO even though we are already into March. My March is a table runner, so maybe I will catch up.

Krista: All your quilts are super but that one block wonder is gorgeous. Do you still have any of the original fabric to show us what you created it from?

I am glad to see many UFOs being completed! I have some photos of my February UFO finish - a red snowball with a leftover string pieced back, and I really like both sides! I quilted it on my Tiara, using several different free motion ideas in each snowball. It was a great way to practice.

Oh my goodness...I don't check in for a few days and wow..what wonderful finishes you all have accomplished. I am so proud of all of you. There are some fabulous projects here that now can be used. I am glad this thread is inspiring so many of you. I haven't been so successful as I have been going through my scraps and sorting out. Quite a job but I really need to do it and be able to make use of what I have instead of it just sitting in bins and sacks. Do plan to finish at least one UFO this year. LOL! Hopefully more but if I get one done, I will be happy! Everyone keep up the good work and thanks so much for sharing pictures!

Hi Emma,

Thanks very much. I wasn't sure it was going to work out with the fabric I picked, but I'm happy with the end result. The border of my one block wonder is the original fabric (and there's not an inch left in my stash). It's this Kaffe Fassett print.

Krista: Thank you. Never would have guessed the original looked like that. Should really have guessed that the border was the fabric but there are so many distinctive blocks that it seemed unlikely it came from that fabric. Love to see the before and after, again thanks.
