Wonder how many excuses I will come up with to make a purchase "necessary". LOL

I'm in, I did a lot better in 2015 then I had for several years before that, but there's still room for improvement. My real goal for this year is to get my stash into the bins I already own, and in order to do that, I need to shrink what I already have.

Count me in for 2016. I did much better in 2015 and kept my purchases to what I needed to complete projects. I need to use more of my stash this year. I hardly made a dent on it last year. My girlfriend gave me 35 luscious fat quarters for Christmas and I was lucky to win 4 yards of white tone on tones in the Fab Shop Hop that came last week. I can see several quilts from these. It helps me to stay out of the fabric shops. If I need something, I try to go to my LQS. There were 2 LQS in the area that closed. One said she was retiring and the other lost her lease. I hope that was the reason and not because Hobby Lobby came in the area.

wow that's nice, "100% organized." Somehow I ran out of space. Maybe I just need to build more shelves in my closets...

I am very motivated to do this, this year! I have big plans for using what I have, especially all those scraps that keep multiplying.
I'm starting a couple scrap sew along boms, even the 365 challenge and working on decluttering and organizing ( which will probably take all month to get through all the fabric crammed into my shelves. Once I get through it all I will be able to plan projects and really get busy. Right now, it's a ( danger zone!)
I'm being good at not even looking at all those * end of year/ new year* sales hitting my inbox.... Nope, don't need anything-- not buying anything!!!

Thanks for the pictures ckcowl. Nice to know we're all in the same boat. This year I plan on tracking my falls not only by telling everyone here but writing it down. I wonder if taking pictures of my quilt room and hanging the pictures near my computer (as there in separate rooms) would remind me my fabric stash needs no more additions.

CK, you are way ahead of me as you can still see the floor! My excuse is that my fabric storage facility is (almost) floor to ceiling windows on 3 walls, so I don't have much vertical storage. We both had bad colds last week, so all my gung ho UFO plans for the start of the year didn't go anywhere. Tree and all decorations still up. Did get a lot of quality TV time in, however

My tree is still up...I like to put it up just before Christmas...I have one little tree I put red hearts and birds on and enjoy through February...
Like you PPrincess I don't have a lot of vertical storage...one makes do...still working on bookwork so fabric ideas get pushed to the back...work tomorrow...must not let any fabric follow me home....
