Of course, you may join at any time. While you may certainly show your progress, it's only the completions that are added into our tally. And believe me, there are many of us in the same boat as you are in. MANY!!!

Count me in if we can count progress vs completions (because mine are all bed sized quilts.) In other words, I'm covered in incomplete covers.. Ha Ha or Cry Cry? I assume it is never too late to start....is it ok to start this in August?

I really had fun doing this, I think at some point I might try something more complicated.

This really is my favourite thread on QB. I've been on vacation so I was behind on checking on the thread -it put a big smile on my face to see all these lovely quilts that have been hidden away in closets come to life.

Now my my friends I need some suggestions on how to quilt this border as I'd like to have this one done in time for Autumn. The blocks have been outline stitched and SITD by hand. The border is 5" wide. I was thinking of spider webs in each corner with a spider dropping down off the webs in the top corners. But then what else? Maybe some bats swooping around? I'm tempted to simply echo some triangles to offset the log cabins (that would be relatively simple and quick).

I love the idea of cobwebs in the corners and even spiders. I would love to see a line drawing of fall things like are in your quilt. Maybe a pumpkin patch. Or cats love cats, or cats and pumpkins. Maybe halloween masks? Whatever you do will be great.
