Battleax, glad to hear you are out of the hospital and getting quilting therapy. It’s very important you continue with your quilting therapy. Even years after the medical event. Seriously I’m glad you are doing better.

conchalea, I’m glad You are recovering well from your accident.

Quilting hugs being sent to both of you for a fast recovery.

I fell off the wagon fabric wise. Since I have a birthday exemption (today) (72) I bit on Missouri Star deal of the day. Lovely layer cake of Debbie Beaves purple, green, beige. It's just fabulous.

Get well soon, Conchelea.

Had a HIDA scan yesterday. A nuclear test on the gall bladder. So glad they didn't rip out my gall bladder when I was in there before. My gall bladder is working normally, as far as I can read that screen. The technician would not or could not tell me a thing. Have to wait and see the Dr. on the 25th.

I don't know if you've ever had one, but the first picture is your liver filled with nuclear stuff and it just sits there and twinkles. Then the bile begins to collect in the gall bladder, big white ball on the screen. Then the bile begins it's journey to the small intestines. Mine performed right on cue.

My problem is the infected sinus that is making oceans of mucus drain into my stomach and I get the dry heaves every day and every night. This is NOT fun.

So now I'm going to start on some essential oils: Oil of Oregano. I'd love comments.

Conchalea and Battleaxe I hope you get better soon. Doesn't sound like fun at all.

I have been busy trying to get my quilt room in some semblance of order. It's coming along but a little slow as I work in there then on to other parts of the house that's needing order as well.

Have sewing machines set up so I'm hoping soon I can do some sewing. Haven't all summer and I'm longing to do so pretty badly. Afraid if I start I'll never want to stop to finish tidying up the place from moving.

Happy Birthday, Battle Axe!! Good to hear all may be OK. Hopefully, they'll have some symptoms
relief suggestions for you. I don't have a clue so I can't offer anything in terms of issues directly related. Relating to essential oil stuff, I've heard good things. Myself, I drink a slushy every morning full of nutrients since I'm not really a good eater. I can go all day and forget to eat..

Elly66.... I am fast approaching having to pack up my sewing stuff for moving. It's the last of the house to pack up. It's all organized and ready for packing...I'm just not ready yet... As soon as the house sells, off we go...not sure when these will be unpacked again. Not looking forward to that...so I SO get where you are at....

BattleAxe, have you tried Breathe essential oil blend? That stuff will clear your sinuses while the oregano helps with the infection. I'm sure I don't have to say to be sure your oils are a brand that tests for purity.

Oh sometimes it's hard to adapt and adjust!

I'm making progress on my scrapping. Going through some pastels now and have enough pieces cut of a set to make the "Simplish" pattern. I need yardage for sashes and binding.

Oh, BattleAxe, I'm sorry you are still not feeling good! And, I hope the Dr. agrees that you gall bladder is OK and doesn't have to see the light of day. Sounds like you qualify for another exemption due to feeling rotten.
