I just love seeing all the UFO finishes. They are so pretty. No, I don't have any yet to report, but I am working on things.

Yes, Teen, I did do FMQ on my DSM. Actually, when I was young, I did FM embroidery on it—and darning! This just a great pattern, and it is always nice to buy from a fellow QB member. Next up—the oldest UFO in my collection. It is 24 years old and has been pin basted for all of that time.

Oh dear, Kris I hope the pins have rusted after so long...ask me how I know!

Just a lovely quilt, too. It is not easy wrestling that big of a quilt on a DSM...ask me how I know!

Back in the day, I too did some FM embroidery on my Viking. I made the kids' jeans...put orange tractors, Smurfs, etc on the back pockets for the boys...hearts for DD. And I used regular sewing machine thread...there weren't many specialty threads at the time. I remember thinking...boy does this take a lot of thread! My kids are in their mid 30's and 40's so it was a while ago! Oh I guess now it's called thread painting.

Such lovely finishes everyone. I will tally up the months totals this weekend.

I have a UFO Halloween top completed. It started out as a throw and ended up as a queen. It is currently at the LAQ. I will have it completed by end of next month. I'm also working on finishing my BHMQ-16. Still redoing the yellow blocks for 1/2 sq trangle blocks, then off to LAQ for that one.

Can we consider reorganizing our sewing room as a UFO completion? LOL, just joking. It sure is taking me forever in getting the room reorganized. I'm sure could be faster if I didn't get so side tracked. I also have to stop wanting to start new projects. I have 8 new projects I want to start. I'm waiting until I complete a few more UFOs. Happy sewing and quilting everyone.

Finished the binding on this last night. I was gifted many of the 4P squares, added some from scraps, found leftover fabric to make the sashings, matched a blue from stash for the setting triangles. The blue plaid border pulled it all together. Used a flannel backing that I had on hand and it's so cozy. Even snatched the binding from stash. So good to use close to 5 yards of stash in top and binding. Haven't taken a picture of the completed quilt yet, but you get the idea...

Oksewglad.....absolutely love this and it's fantastic that you used so much of your stash. It's beautifully coordinated. I can see this draped over of a big ole wingback chair in front of a roaring fire in a log cabin hidden deep in the woods.... So rustic and homey....love it.

Krisb and oksewglad: great finishes! Congratulations!

I am hoping to have a finished top yet this month. I am adding sashes to someone else's UFO blocks and adding some plain blocks with it.
