I love all the UFOs and WIPs posted here. I'm really behind. Lots of PHDs, but no finishes. I'm oiling the Bailey as I write and hope to get a quilt loaded tomorrow morning. I have five tops ready to quilt and really need to get with them.
I'm also trying to organize a prayer quilt group at church so have been cutting out kits to give to the participants so they can sew them at home. All are really easy ones as I don't know if any of the people that will show up know how to sew that all-important scan quarter inch. With these kits I'm assembling it won't matter, just as long as they sew a consistent width.
I'll hopefully have something (or three) to show next week.

My work week has been really hectic, so I have made little to no progress for several days.
Hubby decided to add ductwork to the sewing room, so now I won't have to use a kerosene heater. However, it entailed moving a significant amount of stash... and revealed yet some more UFO's(to me, anyway - thank goodness, DH didn't see them!).
So, while we're not quite finished with that mini-project, my stash is everywhere... meaning I can't get to the longarm... or the cutting table... or the sewing machine.
Yet, I still went to Foust's for their "open to the public warehouse sale".
But I did OK - only 14.5 yards total, and some of that should assist with completing the UFO's that are now literally "in my face".

Tomorrow should see the ductwork finished, and stash relegated once again to the hiding place, and the Dresden Plate will get loaded on the longarm. In the meantime, I figured out that I must really like purple. Once I can maneuver in my space again, some of that purple will find it's way into a new project... to hopefully NOT become a UFO.

Leta...glad you have plausible excuses for not working on those UFO's, and once you enjoy constant warmth in the room you will get them done!

I'm still working with triangles...almost done, I'm just getting the last of the sorted into proper sized containers. Should finish tonight. The teeniest ones are left and have some paper piecing papers I want to print out so I can pair the teeny triangles with a project or two and I will be ready to sew when I want to make a mini. I don't need to make any more fabric boxes for this project and have 2 drawers empty waiting for "something".

I'm "kinda" in......in as much that my word for the year is COMPLETION. But it covers all of my endeavors, not just quilting. I made a list of UFO's, WIP & PIGS on that Quilt Chart that I saw on Facebook I think it was. I was horrified to find 15 projects unfinished. NOW, that said, there are some that are constantly ongoing. I sew with several groups and used Bonnie Hunter patterns. These are kept in bins and I work on them all the time (leader/ender stuff) and when I have enough I make a top, but keep adding to the bin. I switch out among the groups I sew with. I have three projects that the patterns and fabric are in their own bins as well. When I have completed THREE UFO's I can start one of the three ready to go projects, as they are gifts for other folks. I'll try to keep you posted

Almost!! LOL I wanted something different. I'm not very good at FMQ (yet) but I can use that walking foot pretty darn good these days. Thanks to a Craftsy class by Jacquie Gering AND a class at a LSQ from an instructor teaching Jacquie's methods. I love my walking foot.

A February finish! Poor little dragon has been in a box waiting for a hanging sleeve for 7 years. Finally pulled him out and sewed a sleeve on. I guess a label would be good too, but that might be asking a lot I'm calling this one done, 'cause I'll be finding a spot on a wall for him this week.

Very intricate, krista...but seriously all but a hanging sleeve...the dumb reasons we relegate things to a UFO pile! We are all guilty of this!
