Congrats, Teen! That means in a few weeks you'll have those boxes unpacked and you can see all that beautiful stash you have waiting to be quilts and more quilts!!

My stash is in the basement so no worries about it coming crashing down. Since I make mostly fairly large quilts, it is easy to use up at least 6 yards on one backing, and 9 yards if it is queen size. Most of my fabric has a plan, just the last stuff doesn't have a definite plan, only a possible plan. It is all organized by color and floral/ Christmas/ juvenile, etc. So it is easy to find what I want or need next.

Yay Teen, grats on the house!

I'm continuing to make progress on the purple quilt. All the quarter units have now been sewn, still have about half the blocks left to press but all the border units are done so I am more than halfway through this stage. Goal for today is to finish the pressing.

Although I am still buying my thrift store finds, I have gotten no new fabric since the black and white solids I bought at the end of last year. I'm using up stash and I'm sending fabrics out the door, an organized stash is not such a bad thing as the wild jungle that was my sewing/fabric storage room a year ago.

Thanks, again!!

Even with prepping to move (which really has been done for months), I worked a bit on wedding quilt last evening. Trying to get as much done as possible before move. I'll be on the hunt for a new LA in Idaho cuz there is no way I'll get it done before...but it's worth a shot.

Joann's sale on Kona is very tempting right now, too. No time..pack, Teen, pack!! Lol..

Grann of 6 sorry for your fall. I flew off the wagon and landed on a Large pile of fabric. I was doing so well too !
So happy for you Teen. It must be sell your house month as we accepted an offer on ours this month and will hopefully close on May 1. Didn't realize how much that was weighing on me till I saw the end of the tunnel.

In fact Tuesday and Wednesday was busy finishing up our move. Or at least I thought we would be done. Where did all this stuff come from?!! Spent most of the summer last year doing this. So one more half day really should finish the nearly never-ending move.

Congrats Teen on selling the house! I continue to "tidy" the stash and as a by product of seeing the plentiful supply, I have stayed on the wagon. A friend who volunteers at a charity called and left an alert message about the donation of 15-20 totes of fabric donated that morning. I called her back and learned the majority was double knit, seersucker, sheer and home decor. I never went over to just "see' if there was anything there. But I did take a brown grocery bag half full to the free table at sew day. Hoping to keep this up and reduce the stash substantially this year!
