Well done Teen.
Had beef stew for supper tonight (13 to cook for)...tomorrow will be salmon with beef roast for those of us who don't like salmon...then Christmas Eve dinner with turkey etc. Christmas Day brunch and then quiet. A nap and then some quilting time!

Belfry, that was quite an accomplishment and I’m sure a great feeling...
Teen, what a lovely quilt. I’m happy you are going to spend Christmas in your new home... I hope it’s a Merry one.
Hubby and I are also staying home to just relax this year.

Those are beautiful Teen!
We called off our usual Christmas brunch this year because DH fell and twisted his ankle on the 21. Xrays showed it wasn’t broken, but he can’t be up on it for long without it swelling badly. He was taking Ibuprophen per the Drs. Orders but it really messes up his stomach even when taken with food. Anyway, he felt so bad yesterday that we decided to postpone. At 74 he just doesn’t bounce like he used to!
I have to confess that I’m looking forward to having a laid back Christmas day this year.

I'm thinking of doing this for 2020; I guess a new UFO thread will be starting up soon!

Happy New Year's to all UFO'ers may your 2020 year be your best one. I will continue to lurk on this thread but, I too will be planning a move to another states so I won't be completing much the new year. But you know what they say, "never say never" I don't plan on anything but, depleting my things (downsizing) by 90%. Moving-in with my youngest daughter and family. Looking forward to what you UFO'ers comlete. Have a blessed year

I managed to actually get into my sewing room over thanksgiving and Christmas to finish three ufos this year. These were all started in 2017 and my goal was to finish before 2020. The flamingos are a wedding present for a dear friend. The churn dash was just for fun as I love the block. The last finish is On Ringo Lake mystery quilt from Bonnie Hunter. I changed the border a bit. My husband refers to as the “worlds largest quilt”. It ended up 108 x108 so while not the worlds largest it definitely the largest I have ever completed.
