Finished the top and back so onto another project. Hunting through the shelves, found a UFO I'd totally forgot. Hung it on the wall. Still isn't talking to me. Think I'll bag it up and go on to another project.
The top I finished had some piecework done earlier-so it's a UFO. after quilting.

Teen, like you I had no UFOs from last year. Part of that ability to complete everything is due to this board. Right now I have a completed top with backing & batting cut & ready. It still needs to be sandwiched, basted, quilted, & bound. The size has me stalled for the moment. I cleared my dining room table to lay it out, then cluttered it again to finish a small wall hanging I made after piecing the big flimsy! So I have to clear it again-hopefully today. The wall hanging was made with all stash fabric & batting-no new purchases required & no UFO created. Success!

Hi! I'm new here, but I've been a quilter for over 10 years. I haven't gotten much past the beginner stage because I'm very on-again-off-again with quilting. This year I'm hoping to get on again. I'm in the process of moving (I should be packing now instead of goofing off on the internet), so crafting will be on hold until after I get settled into the new place, which I'm hoping I'll be unpacked and ready to quilt by the end of February. It's when I had to pack up these unfinished projects yet again that I decided I'm done moving them around. Also, I attended a small local quilt show earlier this month, which inspired me to get back on the quilting horse! Thanks for having this place to give me a bit of accountability!

Welcome, kikajess....! I'm moving, too, in a couple weeks to another state so, yes....you should be packing and not goofing around. Lol.. So glad you've been inspired to pick up quilting again and complete those UFO's. We'll be here for you when you unpack and thread the machine. Good luck on your move..

Wow-ee......This is the year that I work on my UFO's from the past. I have several Saturday Sampler/Block of the Month quilts that are in various stages of completion. I did not sign up for any BOM's this year so I could finish my UFO's. So.......I'd like to join. I will also try to figure out how to take pics off my phone to post. I am really close to finishing one quilt...had to rip out some quilting, requilt that bit and then bind.......soon it will be done!
