Good morning UFO'ers, WMUT, you did a fine job on your finish for your July P/L project, one down for the month
happylab, isn't it funny the tip that Quilting Raven shared with us (LOL) on cross stitching
Back to cross stitching y'all, I will have to go back to it (C/S) because I have to order the fabric from on-line to complete another UFO project that I want to finish. I would have my DGS assist me with the laptop in attaching pix, but he returned to Nevada (Las Vegas) to live. Miss that young man
Have a good day everyone--cherrybsixty

Yesterday I went to visit a quilting friend who has had to give up quilting because of long term hand difficulties. She is also moving and called me to "look" at her UFOs. Silly me! It was like Christmas in July. At least 15 UFOs in individual containers with pattern and any extra fabric to complete the project. She also had rulers, Best Press, basting spray and batting. Could I leave any of these gifts behind? Of course not. The back seat and trunk of my car were/are full. I have a minimum of one year's worth of quilts to finish. I have been blessed with fabric, tools and patterns and all those terrific containers. She even has a quilt ladder that will arrive at my home later. What blessings!! Let the sewing begin............... after I finish my own UFO challenge for this month.
Bottom line, I will be part of this this thread for a l-o-n-g time.

Took a big step of finishing a 2 year UFO. Finally got all the blocks sewn and together. Needs borders and I might need to buy fabric for such.
Enjoyed hanging out with my quilty Aunt at family reunion. She's a genuine blue ribbon quilter. We had a rainy day so made good use of the time.
Progress is always incremental. Always forward!

UFO update: Just finished #4.
Pictures for 3 & 4 below, two views each. Tomorrow is I will start quilting #5.which is a bigger quilt that will take longer. Fingers crossed to have it done soon.
Number 3 was a collection of orphan blocks given to me by some one else. Number 4 was a set of a few blocks from other baby quilts that I had made. Added some additional fabrics and snowballed corners and Ta-Da, another quilt.
