NZ- that's so pretty and cozy looking!
Hey, my long armer is in Kansas! If you want her info pm me and I'd be happy to send it. She's fantastic and her prices are the best I've ever received. She's a sweetheart too. She's the only one I use now.

Sometimes some new thing has to be made before you can work on those ufos. The case - neice had her baby last week- a month early. Mom and baby are doing well but I didn’t have a month to get the baby quilt done- I’m feeling better— don’t have Covid- just a sinus infection- meds have made a huge difference. Managed to get the flannel/ fleece snuggle wrap made, my goal for this weekend is to get the quilt made- .
maybe a break from that ufo will give me a fresh start next week.

Ckcowl- welcome, welcome to your new family member! My son was born 2 months early. Sending prayers and wishes for good doctors and better outcomes.

I moved two UFOs forward this evening- completed pieced backs for both - completely from stash. Neither is super fancy and neither has a home yet. I have quilting to complete on a Lonestar that's takes precident, but they're ready to layer and baste when I'm ready to go.

Connie, your appliqué blocks are fabulous and I love your idea of making a wall arrangement of individual wall hangings. Please keep us up to date on your progress.

NZquilter…love your (Irish Chain) scrappy quilt.

Ckcowl, I’m glad you are beginning to see improvement from medication for your sinus infection and feeling better. Congratulations on your new grandniece or nephew. Baby quilts are definitely more fun than UFOs. LOL

We got about 18” of snow yesterday so I got to spend most of the day in my sewing room. I managed to get a couple of rows done on my king “star quilt”, a Valentines table runner and finished quilting my Merry Mayhem mystery quilt on the long arm yesterday.

Jmoore - you really did take advantage of the snow day, didn't you? Might have been a whiteout outside, but such lovely colourful quilts must have kept your spirits up - they've certainly lifted mine!

Lovely work, JMoore. Very clean, and exacting.

My accomplishments on Saturday was three quilts sandwiched and more progress on a Valentine quilts. Sadly all are WIP not UFOs.. If one hangs around for another couple of months..... I will count it as a UFO. Tee-Hee-Hee

NZquilter: Very pretty quilt.

jmoore: Congratulations on finishing your Merry Mayhem quilt! It is lovely. 18” is a lot of snow. We had around 11” earlier in the winter season in my part of MN.

I finished the last 2 blocks on my 2017 UFO. They are 8.5” by 14.5”. I wonder why I waited so long to finish them. 🤷‍♀️ I will add a button on the branch of the blue flower when I make the wall hanging.

Now I need to decide how I want to group the blocks for wall hangings. I plan to make the 2 biggest blocks into 2 envelope style pillow covers. I have a 24” square pillow and will alternate the current cover with the 2.
