I think I've figured out a layout I can live with!

That looks lovely, GramE! I like your fabrics, especially your magenta.

The more I see those circles, the more I wished I'd used tri-recs instead of the QSTs. But I'm not going back and ripping them out. Plus a really don't like making the Tri-recs. I'll have to find a better way of doing them if I participate in BH's mystery next year.

Belfry how are you doing them? The way I do them isn't bad at all, but I don't use the fancy rulers.

Clue 7 QST's are done. 80 plus an extra one plus an OOPS! 2 yellows and 2 greens.

I am making all of the blocks but I plan to make a smaller top and then use the rest of the blocks in a different scrappy. Great way to use up some smaller scraps.

I am loving the pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Connie

Emily - how is your father doing this week? Praying for a complete recovery and strength for all of you as care for him. Hospital times are so exhausting!
He's doing better. Out of ICU today and will be going to a long term care facility next week. He is not swallowing properly and not coughing effectively. Thanks for your prayers and we are all pretty tired.

Loving all the work being done on the En Provence's. They are all lovely and I'm enjoying the other color ways.

Personally I don't like the green/yellow QSTs in my quilt so I opted for making more tri-recs from purple. I like the rounded look, with the secondary design being alternating magenta and purple stars. The first batch of magenta stars came out a shade less than the required size so I will have to use them in another project. Guess I am learning how to make pointy stars with this quilt. LOL

I'm learning my brain doesn't dance well with scrappy. Like trying to tango when they are playing a waltz!

I admire those who can make sense out of scrappy, I do not have that skill. I find BH's quilts busy enough even w/ yardage.
