AlvaStitcher,
I think any of those magentas would work. I chose a more tonal (no other colors) magenta for my quilt, because lots of my other fabrics contain other colors in them. I wanted the magenta to POP. That being said, I'd choose your tonal magenta, but any could work. It depends which one you like best against your other fabrics. Maximum impact.

AlvaStitcher, the middle fabric seems coolest, but do you have blue in the quilt? I like the top fabric best.

Joe's Mom, No I do not have blue in the quilt. Went with Bonnie's color choices. I love doing scrappy quilts and mixing colors and fabric patterns but I do not have confidence in choosing alternative colors. LOL

An FYI to any one else who has the Marti Mitchell "Quilt Sense" Wonder Triangles rulers:
You will need to cut the magenta strips 1/8 inch wider than Bonnie's directions.
I thought I had the Tri Recs rulers and cut the strip per Bonnie's directions. I tried piecing two blocks and both came out short and one was wonky when I tried to compensate. Glad I bought more than I'll need so I won't end up short.
Hope this saves someone else from making the same mistake.
