Bonnie Hunter Winter Mystery 2022-2023: Chilhowie

Teen - your print fabic is gorgeous! Those colours couldn't be better for the colourway you are using.
Sewbizgirl -- I'm doing half the units. On one quilt (can't remember which) I only did a third and still ended up with a nice sized throw quilt. Like SuzSLO said, you'll probably need to make more units at the end for the border as Bonnie loves pieced borders.

I had planned on easing into this, as I had more than my share of thanksgiving food to prepare. I also have two more baby quilts to finish before next week, and I’m going to be out of town over the weekend so probably won’t even see the next clue until Tuesday. But I have been able to use this clue for leaders/enders for the baby quilts so that I can see what they look like.
Love everyone’s fabric choices and progress so far. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the clues look like - even if I can only do a handful at a time.

I’ve gone about as far as I am going to go today with Clue #1: all the 4-patches completed and more than half of the nine-patches, with the “triples” needed to make the rest all cut and pressed. Looking forward to tomorrow’s clue.
Hope everyone had fun this first week, even if you were just following along on this thread.
