I agree with you; I too am disappointed in the blocks and wanted more animals. So if I don't like a block will replace it with one of my own.

Oh! I'm loving this rooster I don't know if I'm going to make the barn and I do like barns but right now the directions look confusing to me and don't have that drop everything jump in mojo to make it, like I had with the other blocks.

I think the instructions are also confusing. But I am almost done with my barn. I think seeing yours will help. I been trying to follow the subjects she posts so I don't end up with 2 of the same. I love the little barn quilt on your silo.

toverly, your details are great. I see a darling barn quilt on the silo, and the bar to support the rolling doors on the barn loft door. Nice touch!

Pbadder.....love your alternate blocks and a great strategy for this sew along. Just like with any mystery, not everyone cares for the unfolding clues and turns on the creativity to make it their own.

toverly....your blocks looked great, too. Love the creativity on the barn and your sashing is so pretty.

pbadder, Love your unique blocks. I too am a probably going to change or add to the designed blocks. I never got further then the first block. I just thought their would be more animals. So, I guess I will be adding my own.

Thanks y'all, I was happy that I remembered a scrap fabric that had printed "blocks" on them. I tried to make a 2 1/2 inch block but was unsuccessful. Thank you for not seeing drapery on the barn like DH did. I remembered a barn with the rolling doors on the hayloft. So, it added a little more detail.
