Jenn, love your barn. The satin stitch gives definition to your barn. Wish I could machine satin stitch. Flunked out years ago.

Jenn: Great barn block. I am chuckling about your pile of fertilizer.

Yes, the black outline is a satin stitch. The block really looked ordinary until I put the outline on. I think it looks kinda cartoonish now.

It looks great. Not like a cartoon. I love the artisticness (probably not a word or is misspelled) of it. lol

I really like what you girls did not putting the bottom barn strip on it looks so much better, it took me awhile to see it Lol....... I been going back and forth with the instructions and coming here to look at pictures then it finally hit me, and I like the idea of the added strip for the sky so my question what size did you make the barn door and barn door sides instructions say 4 1/2 x 3 1/8 for the sides and 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 for the door. thanks for any help at first I didn't think I was going to make it but the instructions are slowly making sense.

Mandyrose did you get your block figured out? I haven't been on here much the last few days and when I got on yesterday my posts didn't show. Sorry. Let us know if you still need help and I will try to help you.

Love him! Thanks for posting this. I have a feeling that I am going to end up with alot more than 12 blocks on this one. They are all so good.
