I am going with the same aqua corners throughout too, as it would be the largest block of "solid" color.

How would it look with the double diamonds turned around with a black center?

I like the center to contrast with the double diamond color. I prefer the yellow.

I was slow to the starting gate this morning ... almost 3:00 PM and I'm just getting around to seeing the reveal and some folks on Bonnie's FB page have the whole darn thing done already!! Gosh!! And I was planning today for different projects ... may go ahead and stick with my plan and keep looking at other folks great ideas for alternates

I DO like the reveal, and I'm not surprised given the number of colors and Bonnie's penchant for "busy" quilts. Busy is why I decided to do this MQ in the first place. I love busy quilts that from a distance give a wonderful (and completely different) secondary pattern.

The pic of her and her dad holding the quilt up makes it look like a quilt made of two blocks set on point!!

And I see that I DO need to make those 4 cornerstone patches as they are integral to the final border, and I love that final border!!

Nancy ... I like the pink center to "solidify" the block, but agree with others that the sashing looks better with Bonnie's positioning. The position of the black squares I think will make a big difference in the overall view and secondary pattern.

Emma ... nice thinking ahead. I think the constant black and white (instead of scrappy) helps a lot with this quilt. Can't wait to see how yours looks with multiple squares.

A few options for us...

I had to lol. I was reading "sns" here and got confused who they were talking to. I use that to refer to my kids. Sophia and Sam. But someone was talking here to sunlitensmiles.

I like the pink centers much better. I think I will replace the centers in the 10 blocks I have pieced together. I'm ready for anything----this mess is just to busy.

I really don't care for the pattern, but I do like the colours. I put together four blocks then saw the suggestions for a solid center block. Will play with that as well. When I saw the reveal, I figured I'd do a 3 x 4 arrangement which with sashing and borders would result in a nice sized throw quilt. But unless it grows on me, I'll make two six-block wheel chair sized and donate them to the nursing home. At least the old folks would be able to see the bright colours in this quilt.

Emma, I like the way yours looks a little calmer. I think the plain white is the secret.
Belfry, yours too shows the stars nicely.
Thanks Nanny and Susan for all the pictures with different colors. Lots of things to think about.

I just can't start sewing. It's more than busy to me, it's chaos, and it reminds me too much of my desk where I can't find anything. In this case it's the stars I can't find. I even tried it without the green sashing. I think if I were to use the all pink center I would make a four-square so it too would be scrappy. But I kind of what to stay true to Bonnie's concept because that was why I joined in. I'll wait for more ideas before deciding.
