International Patriotic Challenge
#472
I set myself a goal to sandwich the patriotic quilt by this Saturday. My youngest daughter has volunteered to come over and help me Saturday with what ever quilting project Im working on. Im looking forward to spending the day with her and quilting. I was only joking when I told her she had to step in and fill her older sisters shoes as my quilt helper... but Im glad she offered it will be lots of fun.

Spectacular!!!
The m ix of the fabrics gives it such a nice warm and cozy look!
What size will it finish at? From the drape on the ironing board, I'm thinking a Lap Quilt?
And I've just got to ask ... what's prancing around in the background? horses? a quilt? or?

What a great looking quilt, Jenniky! Love the colors. And I'm so jealous of your weekend plans...I'd give anything to spend a day with my daughter. Have a great time!
I've got progress to show, too. It's tack fused to parchment paper so I can fuse it to the stripes all at once. Not too happy with the crooked pinkie, but I'm hoping to fix it. Otherwise, Canada is destined to have a touch of arthritis...hardly appropriate for such a young country. *giggle*
The stripes will be red and white solids, and the stars/leaves are a small white vine TOT.
