Thank you so much everyone! I can't help thinking this pattern would be good for Christmas, Halloween, baby showers, focus fabric, embroidery, quick gifts LOL.

Macybaby, yours came out gorgeous! Your fabric choices are so rich.
Watson, I LOVE your bright colors. So pretty!
Jmoore, I love your fabric choices. I think that's part of the Blue Crush line? I fell in love with that line the second I saw it and had to hold back because I wanted all of them!
Givio, you and your sister's both came out great! It's so nice you have a sewing buddy!
Beverly, I hope you post your finished quilt. That fabric is so pretty. I bet it will be beautiful!
Teen, I was waiting to see yours today . LOVE what you did with it. I think the borders are perfect!

Everyone's quilts look so amazing! Love the variations too!

I've got my center medallion sewn together but had to take a break due to feeling a bit under the weather. Hope to finish the quilt top up by tomorrow.

I’m so impressed with how well you guys adapted the pattern to create great looking quilts!

I’m plugging along here; just finished part 6. I can now see that fabric C is a bust for me. The tipsy triangles closed the door rather firmly. It was too large a print to pull off. Every cut looks different and I think a more uniform/predictable pattern would have been more suitable. It took me longer .... not as keen an eye as the rest of you have!

It has been a fun project. I learned so much about design and fabric choices by reading your posts and seeing your photos. I will finish and share a photo when I get it done.

    Default About halfway through

Since I’m doing 2, and had another family funeral this weekend, this is taking a bit longer but great therapy. I swapped out a different fabric for C and I think these turned out much better. Progress on the QOV, hugs!

You have all put on a wonderful quilt show. It really is amazing how different they all look.

Watson, that is beautiful, and nice use of your HSTs!

Sharongyn, yours makes me feel like I'm on a tropical island surrounded by ocean.

Leahquilts, I'm glad you're starting over with fabrics you like (and it helps to know what you're making, LOL).

givio, I love the homestead look you are getting with your lower contrast fabrics. Your plaids are fab and your sisters is looking great, too!

jmoore, you chose your fabrics well, that is lovely!

Teen, you have bolstered my belief that you are incapable of making something ugly. Thank you for the close-up of the border detail. The colors and textures are fascinating together! That border fabric is perfect, and the black circle on white is a wonderful touch. That really was a masterful save!

I used my part 2 HSTs as leader/enders tonight while doing strings and 9-p. I should be through them in no time.

Teen, I looked for a photo of yours last night when I was posting my photo and comments but figured you were still buried in your sewing room “creating” but as it turned out, we were posting at the same time. 😝 I love your quilt and the creative changes you made...but I’m not at all surprised because your work always amazes me. Great job!

Sharongn, I love how your bright fabrics worked together for a wonderful finish.

Reba, your patriotic colors are going to be great.
Joe’s mom, once you get your HSTs done, you will find the rest of it fun to assemble. Keep us updated.

Everyone's results are so great and we all took a slightly different path to get there.
I think this mystery quilt thread taught me a lot about choosing colours and being flexible. (And that I should pay more attention when Teen says she's figured out what the focus fabric is.) All the discussion was really interesting and educational.

Good job and I look forward to seeing the quilts still in progress.

    Watson

PS...I'll get mine quilted, but it has to wait its turn.
