I've just finished my first quilt (24 hour quilt took 4 weeks lol)...And I've already applied for adoption. However, I would love to add that I have been studying a very good Water Color quilting book ( mostly wall hangings) and am completely captivated by them. Although, I will still be making reg quilts as well..The water color quilting definitely makes my pulse beat faster...
Anyone out there willing to answer/help with any questions about that technique would be greatly appreciated.

LOL, i'm alive. I have been quilting for only 18 months now, maybe a little longer, have got to the quilt tops only. Have yet to actually quilt. I am hand quilting my very first Sampler quilt, this has been ongoing for approx 12months now, everynow and then i pick it up and havasew, but put it down again only to start another quilt pattern. Glutten for punishment. I do want to quilt my own though, sew this is the learning point for me. I need to practice at Machine Quilting. Penny :)
