Thank you all for the warm welcome.
@Cariem: Since the quilt in my avatar isn't a recently finished UFO, I've posted a picture in the 'pictures' forum: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...ml#post6549824 |
Anneta: Welcome! I don't like stitching anything by hand so I doubly admire your quilting skills! :)

Pretty in Pink is FINISHED! I used the serpentine stitch on my machine to do the quilting instead of SID. Used up 3 fabrics entirely from the stash which is why there is no side border. It will go to a friend at work for his brand-new granddaughter.

I like it, MadQuilter! I think that it looks finished, even without the side border - or perhaps because there's no side border. Very nice indeed.

hey! i need this motivation as well :) count me in!

Love seeing all the finishes. Sigh..one day, I hope to post some pics, also. Have at least 5 tops that need backings made. Maybe later this year.

quiltaddiction: beautiful quilts. neat quilting on the pinwheels!
Madquilter: what a sweet quilt! i like the two borders, gives it a fresh look and less predictable. nice work! |
Madquilter.... what a precious little baby quilt. The new mom will love it.... And you used only your stash, too?? Good Job! Toot, Toot..... on to more finishes

Madquilter--very pretty quilt I am sure it will be well loved!

quiltaddiction - gorgeous quilts. I especially love the blues and yellows in the first one. For some reason it makes me feel like going on vacation....hmmm. France perhaps?
mad quilter - first let me say, kudos for using all of those fabrics from your stash. I always seems to either have quite a bit left over or bits and bobs that I have know idea what to do with. Your quilt is just precious. I love the fact that the borders don't go all the way around. It makes it look very unique and I will need to steal your idea! Off to a great start ladies! |
