Beautiful quilts, Krista! Great finishes. It's a wonder what we have hanging around in our sewing rooms, isn't it?

I spray basted 6 quilt tops and quilted 3 of them yesterday-- small donation lap quilts. Three more to get done and then I can try to get back to finishing a UFO. I have my Allietare top to do, and another Bonnie Hunter top, plus a Farmer's Wife 1930's sampler to assemble. I made 100 of those beautiful paper pieced blocks... so. much. work.... and then just left them in a stack for over a year. I really need to put that one together! All that work can't go to waste!

This thread is great help in keeping me thinking about my UFOs... the first step towards finishing them.

Krista....fabulous finishes!! Don't you love it when you use "every bit" of fabric leftovers? That is a goal of mine with every project I do.. I'm working my way through a FQ bundle to see how many projects I can get out of it right now. Fun challenge.

Sewbiz....would love to see your FW quilt!! Been thinking of doing that pattern. Indeed, a lot of work

Beautiful finishes Krista!

What is a Swoon quilt? I remember seeing a swoon quilt along on QB several years back, but never did know what the Swoon stood for. Is it the name of the block? Or is it one of those quilting acronyms like "FMQ" or "SABLE"?????

Thanks Rob. Swoon is the name of the block. Several years ago, a pattern called "Swoon" came out, where the blocks were 24". I reduced it to a more manageable 16" block for my quilts. I think that's the origin of that particular name for this block. I found it, with a different colour arrangement, in a list of traditional blocks once under a different name which I can't recall right now.

I have a February finish of a UFO, but haven't taken a photo yet. I'll post when I do that (hopefully, before it snows again) LOL!
