I had planned to donate this, but it's kind of grown on me. Might have to keep it for now.

I love this idea! would you plz send a close-up of your boarder?

Wow Kassaundra that is amazing! I could not visualize your plan before, but that is really unique and beautiful. I'm totally in awe of some of the fabric choices and designs you ladies have come up with. What are the dimensions of the pieces in your square in squares? I had tried to make one and must have figured my math wrong.

Carol, my inner square is cut at 2 5/8, and the outer triangles are cut at 2.5 inch square and cut diagonally.

I sew opposite ends first then trim the dog ears and press then do the opposite corners. I hold the inner square folded over good side out, and the corner folded over good side out meet up folds, (for exact center) then hold in place unfold and sew.
It make a near perfect size just a tiny bit of trim.

Thank you! Your blocks do look perfect and yes, my math was off a bit:). I will try that tomorrow.

Sheep farmer -- I'm doing a 2 x 3 layout and think it will be 54 x 72". That includes an additional 1-1/2" inner border. I usually make throw quilts so that is the perfect size for me.
