Today I'm working on assembling and quilting last years mystery. I already had the diagonal rows assembled, today is quilting those rows and stitching them together. I am doing a very simple quilt "design" just straight lines. I have 3 rows complete working on row 4 now.

That's about where I am with my Allietare too, Kass... sigh. Now that I have my Boom quilt finished, maybe I can wrap up the Allietare.

Kassaudra, Show us a pic when you're done! Can you explain your quilting method please?
I bought some neutral fat quarters today. Thought I'd get something fresh to add in the mix...
Where are all the Black Friday sales on fat quarters? Anyone know? :-p

JeanieG, great job with fabric selection. Looks like you're ready to go.

I've pulled everything but the yellow--have to go into "The Closet" for that! Perhaps tomorrow. Watch--we will use the yellow first since I don't have it out! :)

JeanieG, Your bin looks perfect-- you've got the tool too!
Nice sewing area. :-) Lucky you!

Splinter - What's the title of the book? Does it come in audio? I like to listen to books while I sew. Reading the actual book takes time away from sewing, don'tcha know.

Cheers!
MJ

The book is Death at the Chateau Bremont, and it is the first book of a series. I made an unsuccessful attempt to find it in an audio format. I have sewn through many audio books, and a series among my favorites is the Three Pines mystery novels written by Louise Penny. I've listened to them over and over and never tire of the characters.

Great selection of fabrics, Jeanie! You'll have a pretty quilt.

Splinter, thanks for mentioning that audiobook series you enjoy. I've requested two of them from the library.
