Lisa, I love your units. In the big picture, I don't think they will seem distracting.

As Bonnie often says, this is a mystery. Either trust her plan or don't. I choose to look at her beautiful quilts and trust her judgement. Your choice may be different than mine--that is fine. We all have our own eye and sense of what we do or do not like.

joe'smom, I like your neutrals and magenta!

Audsgirl, you have a lovely set there too. Great neutrals.

Most of Bonnie's quilts have pieced borders so we could be making those border units while working on one or more of the clues.

Well, I got all my pieces for Clue 2 cut out... then hubby had knee surgery, so that means no time for stitching.
When I'm home from work, it's been fetch & carry & baby him. Fortunately for both of us, his brother has been staying with him while I'm at work. Hopefully, I'll get a few of Clue# 2 completed. I'm hoping to try out my new-to-me featherweight on these pieces!!

Clue #3 is out! And it's purples! I'm using green, so this is going to be fun. I can't wait to see everyone's colors and patches over the next few days:)

Jeanne S thanks for the info, I'm sure that's what happened, my iron makes so much steam I feel like I'm getting a daily facial. I printed the template on regular paper and will try that method later today.

Audsgirl, love the bicycle in your neutral print. How fun!
