Thanks Peggy! With clue #4 being a bit shorter I may get more done on that one too. All of our children were here for Thanksgiving and our 50th anniversary, so our home is quieter than usual this Christmas - time for sewing:).
I've followed your posts and love your combinations. As I see some of the other Magenta prints I almost want to re-do mine and get a deeper magenta print - yours and Lisa's are both so striking next to the other colors.

Happy sewing everyone and Merry Christmas too!

Yesterday was a catch up day since I decided to make half size instead of quarter size. I finished the extra step 2 pieces that I need. I left my neutrals on the cutting table last night to take care of today. I had no idea that I would be cutting more of the same neutral triangles today!

Blog news: Wow, I use my scroll button to scroll down a page instead of the scroll bar, and there is the same advertisement located under/over the bottom of each picture. I wanted to see the whole picture, so went to close the ad-- it says 'click or hover to expand.' It gives you only a couple of seconds to close it before it expands full screen. Each time I paused to look at the picture and got I the ad every time. How long have advertisers been using 'hover' to open? I was so slow to close it that it opened every time! I even got it the first time, with just pausing during scrolling. *roll my eyes* Bonnie is surely making money with that ad! lol

I just cut, folded and put away my dark blues to finish yesterday for clue #3. I planned to do #4 tomorrow, thinking it would be yellow or green. Shoot, I should have waited until today to do clue #3, then I could have cut #4 at the same time. I cut a bunch of 2 1/2" strips along with the 2" strips though! Just an inch off. Can't fudge that much. lol

Lucky you, pennycandy, you can continue on with your neutrals. :-)

I started cutting the pieces then realized wait a minute this is Project Runway time, so the mystery is waiting for PR to end

The more I think about the delay of clues related to the new ruler, the less sense it makes to me. Bonnie has stated that people should have their rulers sometime after New Year’s Day; but the reveal the last two years has been on New Year’s Day.

If people still won’t have their rulers when the delayed clues are announced next week and the week after (and since there are alternate methods of making those units), what was the point of delaying those clues? The only way the delay makes sense to me is if Bonnie intends to delay those clues until after she has shipped the rulers. But she says she is leaving on a teaching trip Jan 3, so she would have to administer the delayed clues while traveling (which I suppose would be possible).

So what I’m wondering is, those of you who have done more than the last two mysteries, have there been years when clues were still being released after New Year’s Day?
