On the advice of a couple of you, I've obtained Deb Tucker's V Block ruler. After reading directions and watching her YouTube video, I tried it out. Easy to use, very accurate results. Thank you!

I wondered about that... I have another of her rulers and it works really well and would be another alternative to PPing. Thanks for letting us know!

Got clue 3 done and pressed/spun today. Ready for clue 4 Some of my lavenders really look pinkish to me next to the purples. Hope it works ok with the other colors. But what is done, is done! LOL

Nice blocks, ladies. Good contrasts on those purples/lavenders.

I love your blocks, AlvaStitcher and Jaba! I wonder why's that we will get to make tomorrow. I'm hoping for hst:)

Thanks Sewbizgirl and Tweety. I loved working with all that purple fabric. I was saving it up for a Jamestown Landing workshop next spring so now I have to go buy some more.

There are a lot of us finished/caught up and waiting for the next clue. I'm guessing the next clues will be a little more challenging since she's had us making so many 4-patches. She did say in a recent post that we are done making 4-patches....hooray! I'm expecting HST's, flying geese and hourglass units for the upcoming clues. Looking forward to working with the greens and yellows, too.

Call me crazy but I love spinning the seams in 4-patches. The seams magically lay flat and trimming is so much easier. I purposely try to make them need trimming...you can always cut smaller but so far I haven"t figured out how to cut them bigger. LOL

You aren't the only crazy quilter, Terry! I had never spun the seams until this MQ, but I love it!! I'm amazed how flat the seams are and, I agree, they do turn magically:)
