Terry in the ADK, I just broke down and invested in the Accuquilt 1.5” strip and 1.5” square dies, both were 50% off and free shipping. It won’t help me this time, but for next time yes. I had been eyeing these for a while now. I have a few projects to use these dies in the future. Back to cutting my strips.

Oh my goodness that's a lot of 4-patches! I was tempted to play along with this one (in concept I really like the 'mystery' quilt) but there's No way I'd ever manage to be that productive in that amount of time! At least not yet... I'm so ready to retire and have time for sewing! Cheering you all on from the sidelines! I can't wait to see this one come together. :)

Lot's of people don't do all the clues every week. We do what we can each week, then work on it for the rest of the year. If you are able to do some each week you will have enough that you can play with at reveal and get an idea of what your quilt will look like. The added benefit to doing it that way is there are always very creative people tweeking this or that they often come up w/ ideas that are really cool and you can finish yours either like Bonnie did or one of their ideas or one of your own as you have the time to think and change.

For any one who might like to do one of her quilts. Always print the directions. You can toss them if you decide not to make the quilt. Bonnie takes them down on a set date then they are only available in her book. So a link will quit working.

I managed to get 55 4 patches done so far. Still have two days to work on more. Will work on these gradually. November has been a very busy month for me. Hopefully in Dec I will have more time for sewing. Everyone's so far all look great. Will post a picture later.

My 4 patches are all sewn—for the 36”x36” wall hanging size I am doing. Now back to finishing our Christmas tree, which is also a wall hanging. No floor space down here,

Why are all the posts blank? I'm so confused... Working on clue 1 tonight... hoping to finish it up before clue 2 is released tomorrow...

That is Sooo good to know... I've been wondering what I had gotten myself into starting this...

I have tonight.... I plan to handcuff myself to the sewing machine until they are done... hee hee... who am I kidding, I cleaned the house on my lunch break so I have tonight to play. It isn't too much for me to ask of myself to sit and sew for a few hours. :)

Please help me. All of your 4 patches are square. Mine are off. These were cut on the AcQ Go, but the sewing could be off, the finger pressing could be too strong. I'm trying to iron with moving the iron, just pressing from above. I've fought with my scant quarter inch seam to the point where I went to the hardware store and bought a calliper. A scant quarter inch is 7/32nds. And I can actually measure that. But I'm not sure my seams are straight. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think I pull them out of square when I finger press.

Marcia
