Kalama, my heart goes out to you. I wish you great results with your treatments. Here's hoping that your insurance will be able to take care of your costs. That's one headache nobody needs.
Your frolic is wonderful. I still haven't put my borders on yet. I've been so occupied with making masks.
Again, best wishes to you.

Leslie

KalamaQuilts, congrats on your finish.

Thank you for sharing your finishes, Kalama, front and back and quilted down -- way to go.

My own top is still sitting right where it was when I finished it, I still don't have quilting planned for it but I do agree whatever I choose will most likely disappear so an all over design of some sort will be just fine.

I have accepted a Frolic UFO from a board member and figured out where I need to start to get it done. I found where things went wrong and just have to make a few extra pieces from what was sent before I start assembly on the bits and parts. The instructions were so confusing in places just to keep the mystery, but the good news is while I need to make some additional bits, I don't have to make all the extra ones that didn't get used anyway.

If anyone else is about to work on this again, I could use some company!

Iceblossom, I am out here, still working on my Frolic! Since this was my first mystery, I started out planning to do 1/3 the blooks. So long story, I made most of the "clues" at my own pace.Mixed in finishing another quilt or two. Then came back to Frolic and decided I liked it and wanted to do the whole thing. Back to finding a little more fabric. Next came mask making. So now back to Frolic, finally working on the borders. Yay! That's ok with me. I am not on any time line. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone working on Frolic for a friend. That is so nice of you.

I am slowly trying to get the borders on my Frolic! This time of year my yard and gardens keep me busy. I also have been sewing/piecing other things...

Nice to hear from fellow frolickers! I haven't made any progress since I figured out what went wrong and when, but I'm going to start making some more pinwheels probably next week.

As my husband says "things take as long as they take". He's the easy going one, but I'm learning from him and am now a much more patient person -- although as I say, it's not one of my stronger skill sets.

Once I started working on this again, all of the clues had been given. I was able to kind of work backwards and put together one block at a time which was much easier for me. I even ended up cutting the fabric for each block as I went. So today I added the the third border and started pinning the fourth. Should finish the top tomorrow. Really like how it is turning out.
Iceblossom, I remember how much work you put into preparing your special fabric for Frolic and it turned out beautifully. I can't imagine adding that degree of difficulty for your first Bonnie mystery. I see that you are thinking of doing the mystery this year and I think I will, too.
