If I remember correctly, BH mentioned she may extend this mystery beyond the 1st. How far beyond she did not say. Again we will follow along and wait and see.

I love all of your posted pics. I would post pics, but my I-pad device is not cooperating. So when it cooperates i’ll post pics.

Bonnie has said the same thing other years, and that's why I'm not putting too much stock in it. I think she likes to keep things as mysterious as possible.

I was going to say that too... she's led us to believe the clues would keep coming in previous years, and then *whammo!* it all gets dumped in your lap on New Year's Day. I bet that's the reveal day.

Whoopie, another couple hundred units this week! This quilt is going to be amazing with all these tiny pieces!

I'm almost wondering if next week is going to be the reveal. After this clue we have done 2,624 tiny pieces; I don't know how much more can fit in the quilt size she gave us, lol! I just have to say, I'm so glad I'm doing it with you all as a group. I think I would have given up by now if I was on my own!

glad it is brown and neutral, the only two fabrics I have plenty of.

Jury duty today. I'm sure it is good for my character.. but I'd rather be sewing.

That shirt top is beautifully pressed. It doesn't look like it, particularly the sashing strips. The shirts are all 100% cotton, I'm wondering is it is the Sanforized process which is commercial preshrinking.
or maybe it is the mercerizing..Luster added to cotton thread to keep them shiny. Seems like both were talked up in the 60's to sell shirts and advertise dry cleaning.

NZ, I too would have never attempted this without doing it along with everyone else. I am looking forward to the final reveal and what it will actually look like.

Since I'm getting good results with the Easy Angle for clue #4, I might try the Easy Angle/Companion Angle method for this clue. If that doesn't work well, I'll give the 4-at-a-time method a try. If all else fails, I'll go back to the basic method with the drawn lines. I might go look for some darker neutrals for this clue.

Yay! Since I haven't done the first set of flying geese, I can now cut all the neutrals for both sets and do them together.

4 day weekend coming up and zero holiday obligations (not traveling, no company coming), so I get 4 sew days to myself. Hoping I can get at least partially caught up.
