Thanks, Fraew. Did you ever finish yours?

Well.. it's done, finished, complete, ready to grace the bed in our spare bedroom, finally! All 4,207 pieces have been sewn together, quilted and bound - she's my perfectly, imperfect 1st queen quilt, ever. I'm so glad I decided to participate with you folks last fall.

I remember, clearly, advice shared - that if you want to learn how to improve upon your quilting skills just participate in a Bonnie Hunter mystery. I highly recommend it to any newer quilters - I promise it will improve every aspect of your quilting skills. I pieced and quilted this on my Juki TL2200qvp mini.

Thanks for looking - now I think I'll go get some sleep :)

Wow! It's so gorgeous, Christine! Congrats on the completion of your first queen quilt! It looks so great on your bed. Love your strippy back, too. Yaaaaaay!

Christine, great finish, I love that batik and the back is a great compliment to the front.

Thank you all - wondered if you had suggestions on how to minimize the wavy edges? In this case, I wonder if my setting triangles were sewn in just a bit too wide? The floppy had a slight wave but it seems to be a bit more with the binding on. More obvious on the hardwood floor - much less obvious when draped on the bed. Just curious if you well experienced quilters have any tricks - thank you in advance!

My 'trick' would be to keep it on the bed!

I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. :o
