Wow Kalama... that back could be another beautiful front!

Pretty backing, Kalama! It looks very cheerful.

I would love to find one of those old ironing boards. The ones nowadays are so top heavy and narrow, almost hazardous with toddlers! I might ask my DH to make me a nice wide, stable one. I've seen the wool pressing mats and I have seen the prices too-- Yikes!

Terrific top, Kalama!

Nice looking back, Kalama.

I just see its up, its up, lol. Is a new thread going to be started or do we continue on here?

I tried to look, but the page was so jerky I couldn't read it at all, I did see the chips for a second or two at a time before it jerked off the screen.

I have many of the fabrics using these colors already in my stash. The colors in this quilt remind me of SBG's mystery quilt from last year, but I don't think she had any of the green in hers.

Probably the page had too much traffic and trouble loading. It will probably calm down later in the day. What I did was, as soon as I saw the "link here for printer friendly version" at the top of her blog post, I clicked it and downloaded the pdf so I could get off the heavy trafficked site asap.

I like the finished size of this year's MQ, it's my favorite lapsize quilt.

What I gathered from her post was that that there would be tons of tiny pieces this time. The hints were: what she said about seam allowances and how much fabric would be in lots of seam allowances, and the smaller size folded corners ruler we would need, versus the one we used last year. So far, I'm not feeling "sucked in"... but maybe I will be after the first clue comes out. ;)

Mariposa said she would be starting a new thread today or tomorrow... so watch for it!
