Aggi, are we going to get to see a picture of your Christmas tree skirts? For years everytime we're invited to a wedding I make the new couple a Christmas tree skirt as a shower gift. I love them but we decided years ago NOT to put a tree up iIN our home as our living room is quite small so we put the tree up outside in front of the picture window and decorate it with silk flowers...we get to "feel" the warmth of the tree and the season but don't have to peek around it to catch the news on TV.

I have been trying to use fabrics just from my stash all this year. I am upset with the size of my stash, and I don't want to buy any more fabric until I have much less. I have a lot of UFOs which I am completing, and every time I have leftover fabric I cut it into 2 1/2" squares. I made a nine patch queen sized quilt from the squares recently. Rebecca

As promised, here is one of them. I designed this skirt a year ago, but only got to making them this year. Here is one of them. I have 11 in total, of those I have 4 more to complete. I'm getting there! I will two of those 4 tonight after work.
