I just revisted the "Challenge Scrappy Quilt" thread and decided to bring it to the top so any new board members can take a look and post their scrappy quilts. There are so many beautiful quilts...all so different, muted, bright and suttle colors...all eye candy. Thank you all for sharing your work.

Can I vent? Any time my husband wants to play on my sewing machine. (shhh don't tell) :lol: He digs in the scrap pile I had set aside for making a rug with Mary Quite Contray's tut.! Hmmm, I suppose I could just sew those pre-stitched bits into the quilt as is... It is supposed to be scraps is it not. ;)

I've finished my challenge. And it was such a challenge!

The butt ugly quilt is done!!! And it's not so ugly anymore. I still don't want it so off it goes to future DIL's bed.

How is everyone doing on the 2008 Quilt Challenge?

Sorry to say that the one I made for charity is still not quilted! The longarmer I gave it to is not answering/returning calls, so hopefully she is just on vacation or something!
