Naw...just read the last couple and you will be up to date, just like the Soaps on tv...sameo sameo week after week...
Speaking of sheets....I bought some sheet fq's off of Etsey. They are old, and gorgeous, and they are so smooth. The lady that sells them has made quilt tops out of them, and they are so soft and smooth. Anything is useable pretty much. I grew up using those sheets, who knew? She cuts the sides, not the centers, where the sheets are not worn. Can't wait to get started. There was someone on the site that said "do you dream about the quilts you want to make?" and the answer is yes...so many, so little time. Glad you retired. I did at 54 and never regretted a day.

Don't have a stash of fabric yet but am really wondering, what do you all think is the best quilt pattern to make a scrap quilt with? Wondering if I'll get a variety of answers!

Hi memathomas, and welcome to the Board. There are all kinds of swaps, challenges and other things going on here. I took part in a Fall block swap, and I just posted pictures of the blocks I got in return. It's such fun, and the ladies and guys on here are great!!! All creative, fun and caring quilters.

This is such a good idea!! I made 12 scrapquilts in '07 and donated them to the domestic violence house where I live. Good luck to all, and I'm in, too. I love using my scraps..............

I, too, am always a day late, but as they say,"better late than never!" I don't think I will ever reach the bottom of the stash regardless of how hard I try! I have made 4 scrappy quilts for new arrivals in the last dew months and there's not an inch gone from the closet....HELP!!! I MAY DROWN IN FABRIC!!!
Check out the one I made for my mother's 1st great granddaughter. I will try to attach a pic

pattern came from a quilting mag, but I had to do a little interpreting of my own to make use of the scraps.
