JQ, wow, lookin' good there! I didn't start on the border. I wasn't sure if I would follow the directions for the border, or if I'll just go scrappy and use more of a mixture of prints. It will probably be the latter, because I don't have a lot of CW yardage, rather just smaller pieces. And by the time I get done with the other blocks, I'll have even smaller pieces... The strips and precise placement of colors of the pattern border looks nice though. I don't have enough for all that neutral setting triangles and sashing either. I'd love to use CW shirtings and neutrals there as I like the look of the pattern. I've been looking in the $4/yd range and didn't come across some yet...

Finally!! I have my 42 -16 patches and four corners. I gave myself a C- on the construction as I got frustrated and messy at the end. This is the Fresh Lilacs rendition.

Those 16 patch nightmares took me almost 3 weeks. And then I did not do a real good job on them. I can do a regular block in a morning or less, but these had me a round the throat. Our Den Mother, (Debbie) said that the instructions for the setting triangles will not come until week 20. I would just warn others that it could be more difficult than first thought.
P. S. my avatar kitty is much better. Had a blockage due to long hair.
