almost caught up with making the blocks. One more to go, then sashing and borders. I feel a nap coming on.

Marcia, that gold color really makes it pop. Gonna be so pretty when done. Jane sorry I teased about the FQ's. Nothing like rubbing it in.

don't be sorry....we are all having fun here! And its true, we can't save 99 cents, always looking for a fabric sale. Did you see fabricdepot.com has all kona solids for $5.00 a yard?

Battle Axe, I love the sashing Idea and the choice of color for it. I am making the RWB style, with the alternating block made of navy blue stars fabric with tea stained background. Most of my pieced blocks have the red with teastained background. Any ideas what my sashing color choice should be? Should I go r&B stars on white, or gold to brighten it up? Or more boring teastained backbround? or red or blue? What would you do?
