Here it is done. I put two borders and it came out ??? I"ve already forgotten, but it is square. It will have to sit in a pile and wait it's turn to be quilted. There are 4 or 5 more ahead of it. Marcia

Marcia, I didn't understand what the problem was but whatever it was you nailed it. I like it very much.

I had one block that would not fit in it's space without cutting off lots of points. Finally I watched a couple of U tube videos on how to hone your piecing skills. They were by ?? Diane Preston I think. Finally I ripped out much more than I thought I needed and then used her techniques to ease it back together. And finally I got it.

Thank you, all. I am trying to catch up on the long arming today, an impossible task. No wonder there are so many for sale. My mentor says I have a death grip on the carriage.

Anyone still working on Summer Picnic? I have done all the sampler blocks but those little double nine patches are taking forever! I am using Christmas fabrics so it may still get finished in time

Yes Pippa. I'm further behind that you are. I'm also doing my in Christmas colors too. I decided to maybe change the alternating blocks. Still undecided. I will decide later when I get to that point. Just keep working along, you still have 5-6 weeks before Christmas. Just enjoy the process, that's what I also tell myself. I like quilting and it relaxes me. Have fun.
