DeDeMac- Marvelous finish!
WMUTeach-Ditto what Rob said. Great progress getting them basted/finished.
I have been on vacation for the last two and a half weeks, so I haven't been on the board. I was able to eek out two finishes for the end of May, yay! One the "Big Boy Quilt" for my cousin's middle son and the "I Can't Believe It's the Same Block" BOM from two years ago. The B-B-Q counts twice because except for the shark backing, it was all from stash .
Keep up the great work.

I managed to get the next quilt on the stack loaded up and started quilting it today, and I realized I only had January and February blocks finished for the National Quilting Museum BOM, so I started on March. I’m about 1/2 way done with the block- I guess until I catch up those late blocks are sort of ufos. Vacation seems to have done me some good, I’m feeling better organized- settling into my work schedule in a way that also provides me time to sew too. I had been spread a bit thin for a few months. Overwhelmed by how much seemed to be stacking up around me. I’ve reminded myself that I can accomplish a lot in 15-20 minutes and it’s ok. My new ( again- 3rd new schedule) at work that started as soon as I got back from vacation - yesterday— I think is going to help me get back into the swing of accomplishing my projects and enjoying it all again. My granddaughter reminded me today that the past 3 years in my world ( and of course the past 15 months that affected all of us) has built up a lot of stress. In the past 5 weeks we have also had to deal with 4 deaths- it is time for me to find my happy place again.

I know what you mean Oksewglad. But I'm holding y nose to finish one (seriously- it needs one border before the long arm lady). I decided that it's not fair to start another queen-size while one was sitting....so forcing myself.

Flimsy for a queen size Habitat for Humanity donation.
The sashing doesn't match as well as I would like but I want to start another queen sized Lone Star* and I decided I can't have TWO queens in progress so I held my nose and finished.....the border. Seriously. That's all I needed to do.
My long arm lady will also does binding so...yes that's why I love her. Drop off and comes back DONE.

*I've never done one before but I need to make something for my bed because the wedding quilt is starting to shred after 18 years of constant use.
