My sewing area is messy with fabric from Unity, another project, and this BH one. Then the sirens go off and the neighbors ask if they can come over. They’ve never been in my house all these 19 years or so and, of course, my sewing area is in my downstairs. Lol!
JeanieG, that is just gorgeous! It is a perfect July 4 festivities quilt -- it reminds me of fireworks.

JeanieG: Congratulations on your wonderful finish!
joe’smom: Now she probably understands why I didn’t need to buy anything for her daughter’s wedding garter and why I had what was needed to move a hook and eye on her wedding dress!

Beautiful, JeanieG!! And a nice day to hang it outside!
My DH really wanted a wall hanging for our dining room (he's a watercolor painter in his spare time). So, after much consideration, I put most of the round 4 parts away and constructed 2 small borders. It finished at 50.5" square. I'll send a pic when I can get the upload to work.

Beautiful, kmjohnson! That border fabric is perfect!
I lost a couple of sewing days this week due to appointments and back trouble. I've now finished my round 5 geese and am finishing up my round 3 stars, pressing my teeny weeny round 4 HSTs and sewing my round 7 HSTs.

Great finish Katie! What a different approach having a finished product right away when you finish another row! I have never done this type of quilt before, it went together beautifully. I love the colors you used!

Still plugging away here. I'm pressing the round 3 stars, pinning the round 4 units, the round 5 geese are done, the round 6 HSTs are done, and I'm working on the reverse geese that I envision as part of my finish. Once I've finished pressing the stars, I think I will have to get row two and three sewn onto the center so as to condense it on the wall. Enjoying seeing all the impressive finishes on Quiltville.
